‘Windrush victims fear being ‘forgotten’ by government amidst Afghanistan crisis’ - Independent

The Home Office set up an Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme to deal with emergency evacuations of Afghan people at risk under the new regime. We and other Windrush groups provided comment for coverage in the Independent on the sudden increase in the Home Office’s workload, and our concern that it would mean Windrush victims would be shuffled to the back of the pack once again.
