Richard Black and Marissa Marius on Channel 4 News

Richard Black was born in St Lucia and came to the UK as a child; after going to Trinidad to visit family briefly in his late 20s, he found himself refused re-entry to the country where he was educated, worked, and had a family. Richard’s daughter Marissa was born in Trinidad and has always been separated from her UK-based family; the Home Office still does not recognise her right to reside here. Their story was covered by Channel 4 News.
