We need a Windrush Inquiry - sign the Open Letter to MPs

On 7 February, the Home Office responded to the Home Affairs Select Committee report on the Windrush Compensation Scheme (“WCS”). In 3 short paragraphs, with no new or improved reasoning, Priti Patel dismissed the Select Committee’s recommendation that the WCS be transferred to an independent organisation.

We are calling on MPs to force a full debate of the House on making the WCS independent. Given the conduct of the Home Office in this and many related matters, we are also demanding a Windrush Inquiry - read and sign the letter here
