Op-ed: The Nationality and Borders Bill is a slap in the face of the Windrush generation

In response to growing unease over Clause 9 of the Nationality and Borders Bill, which will weaken the requirement on the Home Office to notify citizens before it issues citizenship deprivation orders, we argued in an opinion for the Big Issue that the proposal is inherently racist and makes a mockery of the department’s assertions that it has learned the lessons of the Windrush scandal.
